HL: Let’s hear about the first time the members got their instruments.
M: There was a hyung at the church I went to who told me I had too many games, and offered to sell them for me. So he did, but received fake money in return. He felt so bad that he gave me his old acoustic guitar.
J: My mom bought me a… Fender P Bass, wait it wasn’t a Fender, it was a Squier P Bass. It was really really inexpensive, it wasn’t the highest quality but it meant a lot to me because she worked really hard to save the money to give me that. It meant a lot to me. I still have that bass, as well.
S: When I was in middle school I saved up my allowance, and had gathered up about $200. I went to a music shop with my dad and showed them my money, asking what I could buy with it. My dad was touched that I was able to save up that much money on my own, and gave me $1000 so it totaled to $1200. I played it (t/n: I’m guessing the drum set) for seven years, but when we came back to Korea, we sold it.

HL: Choose the most popular guitar/bass (Mini-Game)
M: Then, the most unassuming one would sell the most, don’t you think? The most unassuming… Like this one, I think would be very popular…
J: No, no, no…
M: ESP sells a lot of red guitars, don’t they?
S: In my opinion, this one is closest to the ESP design. This one or this one…
J: What does Moon think?
M: I think the model that’s in the forefront, the one that says “Don’t Touch”… People must have a lot of interest in it, if it says “don’t touch.” So, I’ll pick this one (as the most popular).
S: For me, the one I said before.. this design is very ESP… It’s one that I personally want to buy for myself. Then… this one is also very cool.
J: EMG pickups II…
S: I’ll go with this one. This one’s cool. The design is like an Epson, so people might be attracted to the familiarity. I’ll pick this design.
J: The way I see it, this one. This is very ESP. It looks like you can make a good range of sound with it… and it’s pretty.
HL: The most popular guitar is…? The ESP Amorous NT-CTM (SY picked it initially)
M: Why is it?
Guitar Guy: Because it’s cool. :)
M: The color is very nice.
S: I was going to pick that one, what a shame.

M: Now we choose the most popular bass out of these…
S: Truthfully, I have no clue about bass guitars.
J: If I were to pick an ESP bass, wouldn’t this one be best?
M: Then. going by people’s hearts alone, I’ll go with the twin.
S: Which one did you pick?
M: This blue one.
S: The blue one? It’s cool too but… the one with pickup switches is cool.. I’ll go with this simple black one.
HL: The most popular bass is…? The ESP Stream CTM/FF (The pretty blue twin)
HL: And the reason…?
GG: Because it’s cool. This one is also cool. LOL. That one (the black) the sound is very powerful.

The boys catch a bite to eat at a Hawaiian Burger Joint.
HL: Coming from America as they are, they must like hamburgers, right?
J: I ate them everyday. I really like them.
S: Even while exercising, we always ate them. We always ate burgers for lunch around Pasadena (t/n: Woot Woot! Pasadena~~ They ate at In N Out. XD) when we lived around there.

About the music -
S: As we’re getting older and mature, we are working on making deeper music. Songs that are more meaningful, that more people can relate to, music that has a message.
J: Before, we still tried to make music the best kind of music for the fans but now we’re telling our story. So I think if you listen to the next album and come to our future shows, you’ll be able to have a better connection with us as musicians.
