[14.03.16] “DT2” Kwon Risae - James, Couple Swimming Competition “Overall Win”

[OSEN = Reporter Im Seungmi] Kwon Risae of girl group Ladies’ Code and James from the band Royal Pirates featured on KBS 2TV’s variety program “Let’s Go Dream Team S2” for its couple swimming competition episode, and took the win.

On the morning of the 16th, the Kwon Risae-James couple received the bronze medal for the freestyle 25m relay, gold for freestyle 100m relay, and gold for 1:2 freestyle 50m relay, for an overall win with a total of 2 gold and 1 bronze.

On this day former water polo player James proved his superiority. He overwhelmed the other contenders with his speed and made for a wonderful competition. In the last match- freestyle 50m relay- James turned the tables against Kim Soojung-Kris couple in the blink of an eye.

Before the couples competition, Kwon Risae came in last in the female freestyle 25m match, and appeared to be burdened, but showed still showed passion for the match when she was in front of the water.

After winning, Kwon Risae said, “I had a good partner,” expressing her thankfulness to James. James revealed, “Since my first appearance on DT2, I’ve always failed, but I’m thankful that (this time) I met a good partner.”
